Q Connection Web Services

Since 1998, Q Connection has been providing web authoring and maintenance services to companies in the Model Railroad and Railroad publishing business. Our customer list has included American Model Builders, (the LaserKit® folks) started in 1998; in 2001, we added Railway Classics, in 2003 Pixels Publishing and most recently NKP Car Company.

We invite small-to-mid-sized hobby manufacturers who would like to have a web presence, or need a change to check us out!

Having an extensive background as a modeler, historian and author as well as a retailer and brass importer consultant in the Model Railroad industry, we can build or maintain your railroad-related web site without the pain of interpreting the business to a non-railroader. We will work with you to design a new site, or will take over the maintenance of an existing site.

We charge $35 per hour, billing our time in half-hour increments. We offer this low rate with the understanding that updates will be made in a "reasonable" amount of time. Rates for rush updates and hard-fast deadlines will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. (I had too many unreasonable deadlines and rush work when I was in the IT industry and at this time in my life, I don't need any more!)
